A father is their sons first hero

Rite of Passage Experience

July 31 - August 3

A weekend designed to strengthen the bond between fathers and sons through challenge, conversation, brotherhood and intentional leadership.

Boys Do Not Become Men By Accident

For generations, boys crossed into manhood through experiences shared beside older men.

They learned through challenge.

Through responsibility.

Through time spent shoulder-to-shoulder with fathers, mentors and brothers.

Today, many boys are surrounded by noise...but starving for direction.

And many fathers deeply love their sons, but rarely receive an invitation to intentionally lead them into the next stage of life.

This retreat was created to change that.

Two people soaking their feet in a river near rocky banks.

Install a sense of identity in our sons

Purple flowers bloom in a sunlit field under a cloudy sky.

A Weekend They Will Never Forget

Hosted on private land in the mountains of Sunset, South Carolina, this immersive experience brings together:

  • 8 Fathers
  • 8 Sons
  • 3 Cabins
  • One shared journey

Over the course of a weekend, fathers and sons will participate in:

  • Guided conversations
  • Outdoor challenges
  • Brotherhood exercises
  • Reflection and storytelling
  • Fireside discussions
  • Team experiences
  • Moments of stillness and connection

This is not simply a getaway.

It is an intentional Rite of Passage experience designed to help fathers lead and sons grow.

Something Powerful Happens When Boys Realize They Are Not Alone

One boy opening up is meaningful.

Eight boys standing together in the same season of life is transformational.

Your son will spend the weekend alongside peers who are asking many of the same questions:

Who am I becoming?

What does strength really mean?

How do I handle fear, pressure, insecurity and identity?

And while the boys grow together . . .

The men will too.

Because there is something deeply powerful about fathers witnessing other men choose presence, leadership, vulnerability and intentional fatherhood.

Fatherhood Is Calling

This is a calling for men to lead.

Not Perfectly.

Not with all the answers.

But with courage and presence.

The world is full of voices competing for your son's attention.

Very few will call him upward.

He needs to hear Your voice.

He needs Your guidance.

He needs Your example.

Years from now, he may forget many of the words spoken that weekend.

But he will remember this:

My father showed up for me.

And sometimes, that changes the trajectory of a life.

Join Us in Sunset, sc

This experience is limited to 8 fathers and 8 sons to preserve depth, connection, and brotherhood.

If you feel the pull toward this experience, trust it.

The next generation of men is not formed by accident.

It is formed through presence, initiation, challenge, and love.
